Emily is combination body worker, five elements practitioner, acudetox specialist, city chicken owner, and recruiter/HR Lady. She has spent over 10 years in “Corporate America” and five years exploring energy work and yoga, with a lifetime of being wild. She practices the art of being present to one’s emotions, feeling and connecting to nature, finding an empowered and balanced space from within.
She grew up on 50 acres of woods in the middle of Michigan. Most of her evenings and weekends were spent listening to the wind in the leaves, searching for salamanders and frogs, and inspecting moss and wintergreens. She feels called by those woods to continue to teach and practice finding wild spaces to reconnect with, to re-ground ourselves and shake of the anxiety, fear and panic that our society creates.
She teaches from an embodied perspective. This means that she believes in full-being healing. In order to heal, we must work with the mind, body and spirit. One cannot separate one’s self into components! It is crucial that all aspects of one’s being are considered when healing trauma or working through false beliefs.
