Bloom (Robin Liepman) and Anahata (Anna Combi) are earth activist musicians, permaculture designers, and transformational paradigm shifters. They are co-organizers of the Blooming Biodiversity Permaculture Tour which travelled the North American West Coast, Fall 2015, connecting over 60 communities/farms/gardens, and bringing people together with permaculture land projects, herbalism, organic meals, yoga, music, theater and art. They have facilitated community workshops, retreats, gatherings, concerts and permaculture events in Costa Rica, Canada, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Hawaii, Peru, Bali, and Australia.
They have had extensive roles organizing, volunteering, coordinating, and facilitating workshops at transformational festivals, including: Envision Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Once Upon a Festival, Big Surreal, Flow Festival, Beloved, Enchanted Forest, and more. They have presented at many social/environmental conferences and convergences including: Bioneers, The NorCal Building Resilient Communities Permaculture Convergence, Pure Living Expo, and Cumbre de Los Pueblos COP20 in Peru.
They facilitate Ecological Awareness workshops at Esalen Institute during the Summer Integral Youth Leadership Program, and went to Standing Rock in the Winter of 2016, participating as Herbalists and Water Protectors. Anahata is certified yoga teacher and bodyworker, and worked as an herbalist apprentice at the Herb Pharm. They have both studied eco-psychology, herbalism, and expressive arts; have completed the Earth Activist Training Permaculture Design Course taught by Starhawk; interned at Arkana Alliance, an indigenous rainforest activism organization in Peru; worked as WWOOFers; trained in Non-Violent Communication; have been trained in The Work That Reconnects with Joanna Macy; and are co-organizers of San Luis Obispo’s first Village Building Convergence.
